A bit more about what we believe at Thrive, if you're looking to soak up more inspirational thinking about our approach to fitness:
1. Being active is life-giving
When we are active, we experience the human body as it was intended: a beautiful, organic machine capable of nearly anything. Improving our bodies is not a chore, a rut or an obligation, it’s a wonder. And while it may occasionally be hard, painful and absolutely exhausting, it should always bring life.
2. Change needs strong motivation
When we set fitness goals, it’s easy to let the surface motivations push us: “I want to lose weight” or “I want to run the 10k.” Those are great starting points, but humans are always driven by deeper desires. What really drives you? By finding your true motivation and purpose, your fitness goals are more likely to bring about lasting change, not just temporary fixes. We believe in helping to link fitness goals with deep purpose.
3. A thriving life is about balance
Maintaining your body is one part of an equation: your relationships, your spirit, your mind all need to be cared for, too. We view the body as one important part of a truly holistic self.
4. Strength is anybody’s
We’ve trained elite athletes at a world-competition level. And while their fitness goals might be more intense, strength is a human quality anybody can attain. We believe in helping individuals at absolutely any level reach for their true strength.
5. Safety matters
You’ve only got one body, and pushing it beyond its limits, risking permanent injury through dangerous workouts, is just stupid.
6. Sport has room for innovation and creativity
In the way we approach our work, we’re eager to bring more art to sport. There’s plenty more for our industry to grow. The world of fitness and sport is often seen as being more-or-less established, but we don’t believe that’s the case: let’s keep exploring.
7. We’re better together
A thriving live is not about being a solo superstar; it’s about realizing we’re all better when we’re part of a team, a community, or a relationship that matters to us.
